Pep, the resident videographer here on Kuredu has completed his rebreather course. This is not only good news for Pep but also great news for guests – the bubble-free diving that rebreathers offer means that Pep will be able to get much closer to creatures that are usually spooked by the bubbles.

He will be able to capture unmatched footage of wildlife encounters for his Prodivers Productions films. When filming mantas he will take up an enviable position close to the blocks on cleaning stations and film them gracefully gliding directly overhead, sharks are often more inquisitive with rebreather divers too, no noisy bubbles to keep them at bay.

Watch out for bubble-free footage coming soon but in the meantime enjoy one of Pep’s bubbly dives!
