A Reunion on Kuredu: Family & Friends Diving

Kuredu Family Diving

Kuredu truly connects people. Recently, two Swiss families who met on the island decided to spend another diving holiday together. The whole Kuredu Prodivers team were more than happy to see them back again for their third and fifth visits. The group, consisting of 8 divers and 4 snorkellers, had a fabulous time: the younger generations were diving at several of the dive sites in the Lhaviyani Atoll, while the grandparents donned their snorkelling gear and explored the shallow reefs around the island.

During their two weeks with us, the families were entrusted in the caring hands of Steffi, Marek and the Linnea crew (Ahmed, Mohamed und Lilly), who did their best to show the group the best diving and snorkelling around Kuredu. The highlights? Manta rays, white-tip reef sharks, huge napoleons, dozens of puffer fish (they especially liked the yellow cutie at Kuredu Caves!) and uncountable turtles. The dive site they (again) liked most was Kuredu Express, although the four divers who took out scooters and dived Zafari and Fushivaru Kandu descended as excited as ever, too – 25 eagle rays and numerous sharks is quite something!

And because grandparents are a delightful blend of caring deeds, love and wonderful stories, we provided them with some more amazing stories to tell by taking them do the beautiful Kudadhu, Hassan Giri and Arivaru reefs during the divers’ surface intervals.

We hope you enjoyed your holiday as much as we enjoyed your company! Auf Wiederluege!
