Snorkel Action: Manta’s and More
27 Feb 2013
Prodivers snorkel section has had a very busy few weeks, offering some fantastic trips to many of Kuredu’s guests. We are continually seeing lots of manta rays across the atoll, the number of new sightings has dropped away now, but that is only to be expected as we move through the season as the population appears to be fairly stable. With all the manta rays recorded so far the Lhaviyani population is reached over the 270 mark, and what’s ever better is we’ve seen a large number of pregnant manta rays for the first time in years suggesting the next year could be a bumper year for the manta sightings – do not miss it!
With the weather improving full day snorkel trips to Noon are back on the schedule, allowing the fantastic reefs and coral formations on offer in the north to be explored by those guests staying on Kuredu. The day excursion takes in 3 sites, includes your lunch and promises to a fantastic day and highlight of any holiday.
