In support of the European Shark Week and global shark conservation efforts,  along with the great success of the previous two years’ events,  we are thrilled to announce that we will again run the Shark and Ray Week Special in October.

Aimed at raising awareness of the importance of sustaining shark populations,  increasing education about these vulnerable creatures and giving our divers the opportunity to dive at some of the most amazing sites,  we are hoping for yet another great month of shark and ray action.

During the 4 day program we’ll take you for 6 action-packed dives:

2 x single boat dives – each one dive,

1 x 2 Tank with two dives and

1x Full Day Trip to Noonu Atoll with 2 dives (weather permitting).

To appreciate the sightings even more and find out interesting stuff about sharks and rays,  the special includes the PADI Maldivian Shark and Ray Specialty Course,  with one section being covered each day.

As the only thing that beats the fun of diving amongst rays and sharks is holding onto an underwater scooter and having an effortless joyride while they stream past,  we’re spicing up the special with a free scooter introduction dive.

A concluding teaser – in the previous 2 years, we saw the following on 12 dives: 150+ grey reef sharks, 13 manta rays, 41 eagle rays, 15 silver tip sharks, 2 white tips and 16 stingrays.
