The underwater adventure with Prodivers can be prepared for even before setting foot on the beautiful island, divers can get most of their registration paperwork filled in online prior to arrival. Once on the island, check in at the dive center, this is the perfect opportunity for guests to let the team know what they’d like to see – big fish, turtles or perhaps weird and wonderful world of macro subjects? Let them know and they will do their very best to make it happen! The first dive is the time to get comfortable with the equipment, check for correct weighting and refresh a couple of skills, then it’s time to start exploring some of the 60 incredible dive sites that Lhaviyani Atoll has to offer.

The Prodivers team at Hurawalhi leave nothing to chance, while the guests enjoy their sunset cocktails they are busy calling the other dive centers in the atoll to check on the currents and visibility over the past few days to ensure a great diving experience is planned for the following day.

The PADI Dive Instructors of Prodivers are experts in the local area; they love nothing more than showing guests round their amazing underwater backyard and while the service they give is exceptional, safety is never compromised. With a maximum of just 4 divers per guide and usually the same divers with the same guide, guests feel very well looked after. The team speaks six languages between them: English, German, Swiss German, Thai, Spanish and Dhivehi, and can teach a wide variety of PADI specialty courses including Nitrox, DPV (Underwater Scooter) and Photography. Anyone embarking upon an Intro Dive or PADI diving course will have the reassurance of his or her own private instructor with them every step of the way.

The luxury of the island itself is mirrored in a truly luxurious diving experience – guests on Hurawalhi enjoy the ultimate in luxury ‘valet’ diving. The team take care of everything from setting up and maintaining guests’ scuba gear to dismantling and cleaning it, in fact, all the guests have to do is dive with it! There’s no need to do even the slightest bit of work – it’s a holiday after all. High-quality rental equipment coupled with modern Maldivian Dhonis (boats) that have comfortable cushions, towels, water, tea coffee and a snack box on board make for an experience to be repeated again and again.

The only difficulty divers will have is deciding on when to go for a dive – there are single and two-dive trips as well as full-days too. Early morning, after breakfast, late morning, afternoon and night diving are all possible as are private boats, the Marine Biologist from Manta Trust can join dives on request too and the team will do everything in their power to make their divers wishes come true.
