February is Carnival time, and it seems that over the last few years, Kuredu is right up there with the likes of Rio de Janeiro as one of the best places in the world to celebrate!

Samba season has started early, as this week we welcomed the ‘Brazilian Connection Group’ to the island for 6 days of non-stop action with Hannah and Mueen as their guides.

It’s understandable that the Maldives is a great getaway from Brazil, with the group having been lucky this week with either Mantas or Sharks almost every day. Kuredu Express has been on top form, and the calm weather has also meant that we have been able to return to the Noon Atoll and the legendary Orimas Thila and Christmas Rock.

With Brazilian Connection’s time with us at an end, we look forward to the imminent arrival of ‘Staff Divers’ and ‘Keep Diving’ Groups who will hopefully enjoy similar dives and good fortune as the Samba beats hit full swing from Monday!
