05 Nov 2019

If you’re planning a trip to the Maldives and are thinking about learning to dive with the PADI Open Water Diver Course but are hesitating because you don’t want to waste your precious holiday sitting in a classroom or studying, you’ll be glad to know that here at Prodivers we have the perfect solution – PADI eLearning.

Learning to dive is a passport to a lifetime of adventure, it opens up a whole new world of opportunities, you’ll see your holiday destinations in another dimension, as well as all the new experiences to be had while immersing yourself in the culture, you will be able to immerse yourself in the ocean and appreciate just how incredible life in the ocean is. But, as with all good things, learning to dive needs commitment to understanding the theory behind the practical skills. Not so long ago this meant a few hours sitting in a classroom but this is no longer the case – all of the studying can be done at your own pace in the comfort of your own home, at your local coffee house or even on the train, using your laptop or mobile device – you can study anytime, anywhere.

The eLearning courses include interactive presentations including videos, audio, graphics and text, as well as short quizzes for self-assessment checking and, once you are confident with the material, you can complete the five required Knowledge Reviews; PADI will then email the results to you. Print off your eLearning record and pack your bags – you’re ready for an underwater adventure!

When you arrive in the Maldives you will simply need to learn and practice the dive skills with your PADI Instructor before going on some dives to complete your certification.

It’s not just beginners who can take advantage of the PADI eLearning, the study sections for Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver, Divemaster and the Enriched Air Nitrox courses can be completed online too.
