Steffi and Marek are very happy to welcome two new scuba diving instructors, Samantha and Mauro, to their team at Prodivers Komandoo. Sam and Mau, as they like to be called, are absolutely loving their new home and, as shark lovers they are amazed at the big fish encounters they are experiencing.

Sam’s passion for diving started in Australia and Thailand and took her to the Dominican Republic and Costa Rica before she joined the Prodivers family here in the Maldives. She is originally from Germany and speaks not only German but English and Spanish too. A dedicated vegan, Sam loves all animals – especially those in the ocean.

Mau, from Argentina, has lots of experience working in the waters of Panama, Dominican Republic and Costa Rica. As well as diving, he also loves football and cheers for his home team in Buenos Aires River Plate.

It’s business as usual with regards to the rest of the team at Komandoo – Ibbe taking care of all things watersports, Aslam and Saizzu are still the guys supporting the smooth running of the dive center and Steffi and Marek are overseeing the whole operation as base leaders.
