The team at Komandoo has been very busy in recent months making what is a great Maldives diving location even better!

Prodivers prides itself in providing the very best in rental gear and keeping it serviced to the highest level and Komandoo’s divers have been delighted with the new equipment available – Seac Sub BCDs and regulators. The new gear is kept in perfect working order by Marek and Aslam who attended a Service Technician course to learn all about it.

It’s not just the equipment that’s new, the entire dive center has been given a facelift too! All of the facilities, inside and out, have been painted and even the ceiling has been replaced. Get ready to be dazzled by the lovely new, white furniture that, together with the renovation, gives the dive center a bright, airy and inviting feel. To top it all off, it has been ‘goodbye’ to signing up for diving activities on paper, and ‘hello’ to modern technology – divers now sign up digitally using tablets.

The renovations took place mainly at night so after all the divers had finished their daily activities, both the resort and dive center teams put in a really big effort to move everything out and then reinstate it in time for the morning divers to arrive! Aslam and Marek’s tape measures got a lot of use measuring for all the new furniture, which they then ordered and put together.

The dive center looks amazing and Steffi and Marek are extremely happy with it, it was a real team effort to get this fantastic end result.
