Family Snorkelling

A great way to experience the underwater world of the Maldives – if you can swim, use fins, mask and snorkel and are aged 4 and above you can join our snorkelling boats. Snorkel vests are available for extra safety and an experienced guide accompanies the snorkellers in the water. Innahura has a large, shallow and clear lagoon, which is the perfect place for family snorkel practice sessions before joining boats.

Children must be accompanied by an adult and remain the responsibility of that adult – they cannot be left alone in the water or on the boat.

Family Diving

See the incredible marine life from the underwater perspective – swim amongst the fish, observe turtles feeding, glide along the reefs and much, much more – the adventure of a lifetime awaits those who take one of these options:

Kids aged 8 and 9 years old

• PADI Bubblemaker – kids learn the basics about the dive equipment and safety rules and then set off with their instructor for an adventure in the shallow lagoon where they will dive to a maximum depth of 2 meters, turn somersaults, blow bubbles, spot fish and have lots of fun.

From age 10 to 99

• PADI Discover Scuba Diving sessions – not a course and no qualification – just for fun!. Get familiar with the equipment and basic skills during dive 1 in the lagoon and then enjoy subsequent dives from the boat down to a maximum depth of 12 meters.

• PADI Scuba Diver (PSD) – Get certified to dive with a PADI professional to a depth of 12 meters. 3 theory lessons, 3 shallow water skills sessions and 2 open water dives. This course can be credited towards the PADI Open Water Diver below.

• PADI Open Water Course (OWD) – as the PSD above but with two more theory lessons, shallow water skills sessions and open water dives to 12/18 meters depending on age. This course is the gateway to a lifetime of underwater adventure; it qualifies you to dive with a buddy all over the world.

Want to learn to dive but don’t want to spend your holiday in a classroom? No problem! The PADI e-Learning system means you can register and complete the theory sessions at home before even packing your bags.
