About
Kanuhura Corner is a gently sloping outreef with a rounded corner at the entrance to the channel. The corner has some large coral blocks where you can find schools of oriental sweet lips, collared butterfly fish and banner fish.
Very well camouflaged scorpion fish can be found if you look carefully, but also look into the blue water as larger pelagic species are often seen near the channel edge at the corner. Hawksbill turtles can also be seen swimming along the reef looking for food. The stars of the show on Kanuhura Corner are the big-nose unicorn fish – they enjoy playing in the bubbles close to your head, shaking and wiggling themselves crazy as they enjoy the Jacuzzi!
