About
A long and wide sloping outreef with a terrace at 30 metres before a drop-off begins. Dotted along the reef are some very large coral blocks at various depths.
Humpback snappers and oriental sweet lips like to gather around these areas. Hawksbill turtles are common on this reef but if they are sitting still they are difficult to spot due to their camouflaged shells. They are usually quite inquisitive and swim right up to the divers and sometimes bump into your camera lens! Look under the large coral blocks on the top reef for sleeping nurse sharks. Tunas and eagle rays can often be seen passing by.
