About
Rheeti Thila is a small circular reef, split into four pieces by up to three metre wide canyons, making it one of the most interesting formations in the South Ari Atoll.
The top reef starts at 12 metres and is encircled by a sandy bottom at 30 metres. Interesting overhangs between 18 and 26 metres, beautiful fan and whip corals, different kind of anemones, fusiliers being hunted by jack fish, big barracudas, scorpion fish, nudibranches, schools of oriental sweet lips and white tip reef sharks make for an action packed dive.
'Rheeti Thila' which means 'Beautiful Thila' in the local language certainly lives up to its name.
