About
Nakolhu Giri is a small reef, offering different topography with a wall area broken up by slopes and overhangs. The overhangs are usually full of glass fish, which need to be gently swept aside if you want to see the moray eels and cleaner shrimps behind them.
Resident ribbon eels, mantis shrimps and porcelain crabs all make their homes on this reef making it an ideal site for macro photography. Watch the common reef octopus change shape and colour as it tries to hide in the reef. Clownfish swim in and out of the anemones and scorpion fish hide amongst the coral blocks on the top reef.
