Doing it on Kuredu
04 May 2012
After 10 days of hard work, our OWSI candidates are ready for the Instructor Examination – it’s kicking off tomorrow morning! Miha and Ute prepared them well for the dive theory and PADI Standards exams, classroom teaching and confined and open water presentations which will be evaluated by a PADI Examiner.
Over the last two weeks, we’ve been doing our best to support 8 divemasters in their ambition to become instructors – they first completed the Assistant Instructor Course, followed by the Emergency First Response Instructor Course and on Sunday, we’ll hopefully be proud to present you newly certified Open Water Scuba Instructors. A big thank you also goes to Stan, the IDC Staff Candidate, for his input, and Sebastjan for giving a hand with coordination.
Regardless of the intensity of the courses, the candidates have been having a great time and good weather and water conditions have surely made the learning even more enjoyable!
We’re keeping our fingers crossed for Nathalie and Daniel from Canada, Sabine from Germany, Stefan and Jasmin from Switzerland and Hannah, Katharina and Barbara from – Prodivers!
If you’re interested in joining an IDC in the Maldives, drop us a line – the next one will take place in September!
