Eleven years ago in October 2003, Prodivers welcomed their first Maldivian diving instructor Mueen to the team. Since he arrived with us on that first day, he has been a great asset, friend and leader to all who came to dive with us.

Mueen was the highest qualified instructor in the Prodivers team and knew the Atoll like the back of his hand.  He not only helped many guests to become qualified divers and enjoy the beautiful dives sites we have to offer, but also developed many team members from Open Water Divers to Dive Masters and eventually Instructors.

Unfortunately, the time has now come for Mueen to leave the underwater world and start exploring the skies above this island nation!  Mueen is heading Stateside to America to study and train for his pilot license, allowing him to one day work as a sea plane pilot closer to home and his family.  Of course we hope to have him return as a pilot to Kuredu!

We would like to thank Mueen on behalf of the whole management, team and our guests that have had the pleasure of sharing his passion for his country and the underwater world surrounding it. We wish him all the best in his ventures ahead and we are sure he will make a great success of it,  just as he did on Kuredu!

The Prodivers team already misses him dearly.
