Special Offer for our Shark Week…!23 Sep 2010
As last year’s program during “European Shark Week” was such a great success we have already had a couple of requests for the upcoming season; therefore we will again be offering our special “Shark & Ray Week” together with our PADI Specialty Course “Maldivian Shark & Ray Diver”.
The priority objective during the “European Shark Week” is to collect information about the constant threat to sharks from finning. During the finning process the sharks are slaughtered for their fins which get cut off and are used for food, cosmetics, traditional remedies or even souvenirs. The sharks’ fins are removed whilst the animals are alive and they are then returned to the water where they drown – presently about 190 of the existing approximately 550 shark species are endangered!
Our extended “Maldivian Shark & Ray Diver” course which is held during the “European Shark Week” starts with an information evening where you learn more about the shark’s anatomy, reproduction and their behaviour.
During the following 4 days you will go for 6 exciting dives:
2 x single boat dives – each one dive
1 x 2 Tank with two dives
1 x Full Day Trip to the Noonu Atoll with 2 dives
Instead of the regular “Shark Week” course price of USD 243.00 we are offering you the special price of USD 209.00 (this price includes the shark information presentation, Maldivian Shark & Ray Diver Specialty incl. PADI AWARE certification and all the dive boat trips, including food for the full day trip – the dives themselves and any rental equipment needed are charged at our normal rate). The 6 dives you do during this course can be part of your pre-booked dive package or just part of your regular diving during your stay on Kuredu.
For the “early birds” who have already booked their holiday on Kuredu during October, we will even top this price with a special discount – if you want to take the chance to do the course for just USD 199.00 (or if you just have more questions), please send us an email.
We are looking forward to seeing you in October!
