Dive Update: Komandoo and Vakarufalhi
15 Oct 2012
It’s been another good week of dives for those visiting us on Koamdnoo and Vakarufalhi. The weather is starting to improve, although a few storms still throw up the odd surprise. Vakarufalhi had some great dives on Ali and Reethi Thila. An inquisitive Napoleon proved a great photographic subject for the lucky divers and this ornate ghost pipefish was caught hiding amongst the corals.
On Komandoo the Manta Rays and Sharks still dominate the Lahviaynai atoll with some great opportunities to swim these creatures on Fushivaru. Caves as always provided some fantastic dives and allowed a great group of divers to get right up and personal to our resident turtles. The house reef with its schools of reef fish and playful morays continues to show that you don’t need to travel far to find some great dives when your staying in the Maldives.
