Dive Update: Komandoo and Vakarufalhi
20 Nov 2012
With Christmas fast approaching (now there is a scary thought!) the diving is starting to really pick up with Prodivers.
Komandoo have had a good week in the Lhaviyani Atoll, the Manta Rays have been on show all week in Fushivaru, both on the surface and getting cleaned on the Thila. The current dives on Kuredu Express and KFFC have produced more big fish action with lots of Napoleons, Tuna, Jacks and our resident Gray Reef Sharks. They have also been keeping track of the local leaf fish population with lots being found throughout the dive site of Kuredu Caves and on amongst the coral blocs on KFFC.
Vakarufalhi have had another sterling week with more Whaleshark sightings, Mantas, Sharks and other big pelagic species. However not everyone comes for the big stuff and here in the Maldives we have a bit of everything, so Antonio was able to take his divers on hunt for the smaller jewels of our reefs, and he did not disappoint. With 5 leaf fish found on one dive and a fantastic night dive filled with small shrimps, crabs and nuidibranchs.
Whatever it is you love to see whilst diving there is a good chance that we can help you find it.
