Our teams across the Maldives have been celebrating Christmas 2018 in style…

Hurawalhi
This Christmas at Hurawalhi, divers joined either a scooter adventure at Kuda Kandu or a drift dive at Zafari, they all then continued on to a second dive at Anemone Thila. In the afternoon there was a Christmas snorkel boat that was enjoyed by 15 snorkelers – many of them beginners who were amazed by the reefs and fish life near the island. Lastly, the Prodivers team made a trip to dream island for a special cocktail organized by the hotel for all the guests and spent the last few daylight moments of Christmas Day enjoying the sunset and sipping champagne with their divers.

Komandoo
Prodivers Komandoo celebrated Christmas Day with the traditional treasure hunt on the house reef. Besides some exciting octopus action, the tags with a lucky number that Santa placed there were found too. Once everyone had dried off, the sparkling wine flowed and the wonderful presents were handed out to the happy divers.

Kuredu
The Kuredu team organized a snorkel introduction for kids and invited divers to a Christmas treasure hunt on the house reef and they managed to find everything that was hidden. After the dive with festive spirit abound, a ho-ho-ho-ing could be heard….Santa on his tank-trolley-sleigh, complete with Rudolph and Christmas angels, arrived in time to exchange the treasure for gifts which included goodies such as free dives, Prodivers T-shirts, caps and other nice items from our Prodivers shop.

Lily Beach
Like every year on Lily Beach Resort & SPA a Christmas tree was set up underwater in the lagoon. Christmas morning was very special as we all went out for a treasure hunt with our guests to the house reef and everybody came back with a big smile and treasure that was exchanged by Santa into little individual gifts from Prodivers. A perfect way to start the festive season in the Maldives.

Vakarufalhi
Vakarufalhi team surprised their guests with a mini try dive each week during December. With a little help from Lady Santa, guests were able to make some bubbles and discover the lagoon underwater for the first time! On Christmas Day the whole Instructor team joined the lucky divers for a trip to the breath-taking Kuda Rah Thila. Santa hats on, cameras rolling – the photos and videos taken were given to the guests as a gift from Vakarufalhi team.

We would like to thank all the guests who joined us for the festive celebrations and we hope everyone had as much fun as we did! The entire Prodivers Team wishes all of their divers and snorkelers a very happy new year and hopes to welcome you all back again soon.
