HALF & FULL DAY SNORKELING AROUND KUREDU

The Prodivers Snorkel Team is one of the only dedicated snorkel centers in the Maldives, offering a fantastic range of trips and excursions:

Half Day Trips

There are half day snorkel trips running throughout the week and incorporate 2 separate sites, one of which being a FEATURED SNORKEL SITE. The half day snorkel trips have scheduled departures during the week, and offer everything from stunning coral reefs to staggering schools of fish to an almost 30 year old Shipwreck.

Full Day Trips

Full Day excursions run twice a week and allows us to head further south in the Atoll to snorkel spots that are normally too far away for half day trips. The full day trip visits 4 separate sites during the day, and lunch is served BBQ style on a deserted island.

These full day trips also allow us to check on the action at Dhandifaru. This sandy nose which extends into the atoll is a popular Manta feeding spot. Various checks are made throughout the day to see whether they are feeding on plankton found close to the surface.

We have currently identified around 150 individual Manta Rays in the Lhaviyani Atoll, and we are working closely with the Maldivian Manta Ray Research Project to help understand more the behavior of these gentle giants. The findings of this research have helped us to developed a unique MANTA RAY SPECIALTY COURSE which offers you the chance to learn more about these majestic creatures.

Night Snorkeling Trips

Ever wondered what happens underwater once the sunsets? Our Night Snorkeling program gives you the chance to find out!

We run Night Snorkeling excursions on the Kuredu House Reef, as well as boat trips to a local reef. Armed with a powerful torch, let yourself be amazed at how intense the reef becomes as night. Nocturnal creatures come out of hiding, making the reef their own for the night.
