8. DHIGURAH BERU THILA

Dhigurah Beru Thila lies across a channel, close to the edge of the atoll.

The side of the thila that faces the channel edge has beautiful overhangs and terraces, whereas the opposite side slopes into a sandy area at 20 meters. Although the reef is dominated by hard corals, soft corals can also be found. Being close to the edge of the atoll, this reef is home to big schools of fish, big napoleon wrasse, white tip reef sharks, stingrays and the occasional grey reef shark.
