silvertip KFFC

Around the same time last year, divers from Kuredu and Komandoo had some great encounters with Silvertip Sharks on KFFC.  The good news is, they are back!

After an initial sighting at KFFC, one of our instructors, Markus, returned to (more…)

Maldives Komandoo Shark

This picture has been taken recently by Rosa at the Aquarium, the dive site close to Huruvalhi island between Komandoo and Kuredu.

Proud of the incredible Manta action that we have been having the past few weeks here in the Lhaviyani Atoll, our colleagues and guests on Vakarufalhi were feeling a bit left out about all the attention our majestic Mantas were grabbing.  This week, we took the camera down to the South Ari Atoll.  (more…)

Shark Diving Maldives Orimas Thila

More sharks than you can safely shake a stick at.  Orimas Thila yet again turned up the temperature and put on a dazzling display for one of our full day scuba diving boats this week.

As Mueen and his ‘Tiefenrausch‘ dive group from Berlin packed their kit bags and left Kuredu at the crack of dawn, little did he know of the surprise Orimas had in store for the first dive of the day. (more…)
