Prodivers Maldives

During the last days we have been writing about former Prodivers staff, and it is nice to know from them how life goes on after being working in the Maldives.

Our next one is more than a visitor and it happens to be one of the participants of the show with who we are sharing the stand.

Julian Ortega Godoy was working for Prodivers 7 years (1996-2003), he was mainly based in Kuredu however when it was needed he was also helping in Komandoo and Vakarufalhi.

Prodivers Maldives

They did not want to miss the Boot either…Andre & Kimmo!!

Andre Michael worked in Vakarufalhi for Prodivers 1999-2000. Afterwards he worked in different destinations as a dive instructor and was also Instructor Trainer for NRC (Nitrox & Rebreather College). Nowadays Andre has his own business, GolfComfort, related to golf machinery. 

Thank you Andre for helping us with the organization for the Boot Show every year.

Prodivers Maldives

Same as every year…..Dagmar once again made her way to Duesseldorf. She worked 1998/1999 for Prodivers on Kuredu. Since years Dagmar is doing some underwater modelling. In the meantime she worked as room contractor for ITS-Reisen and at the moment Dagmar is again back in the Maldives working as a diving instructor.

Former Kuredu Prodivers instructor Liam took a break from the aquatic circus show he is working for in Belgium, and has visited us at the boot during the last 2 days.

Liam left Kuredu PD after 4 years in August 2009. Since October 2009 he is working as a Diving Technician for the Franco Dragone Entertainment Group.

Liam is currently training with the cast and crew in a pool in Antwerp. Towards mid-summer of 2010 (more…)

Diver Design Dive Jewellery

Diver Design the jewellery from divers for divers.

All the jewellery by Diver Design is produced in Switzerland according to high Swiss-quality standards. Berti, Marc &Gaby are at the Boot Show, beside the Prodivers stand, promoting their product in the German market. The production team consist of five people working on state of the art machinery to produce those sophisticated pieces.

Every year at the end of January the Boot Show takes place in Duesseldorf. The show runs for 9 days, starting today until the 31^st of January.

Like the last 18 years, Prodivers is present at the Show. People that are interested in the Maldives or in diving with Prodivers have the opportunity to speak to our friendly team.

This year Staffan, Ray, Sabine & Rosa are trying to survive the cold winter in Germany to represent Prodivers at this important event.

Vakarufalhi Maldives

We are happy to be back and join you just in time for this years BOOT Show. During the next few days we will proudly show off and present to you the new and even more beautiful Vakarufalhi Island Resort which is now run by T-Club, a brand of Hotelplan.
We would like to introduce you to the latest members of the Vakarufalhi team who can be seen in the photo. Antonio and Stefano are both from Italy, while Sobah from the Maldives can be seen at the front.  Some of you will no doubt recognise Petra sitting on top of the boys, who has been helping out with the reopening of the dive center.
The “T” in “T-Club” actually stands for tea time! True to tradition, every afternoon on the sun deck of the bar, its possible to try different kind of teas from Sri Lanka and meet the T-Club animation staff.
