31. ANGAGA THILA

Angaga Thila is located in front of the Angaga resort and is well protected from currents due to its location in the middle of the atoll.

The reef drops steeply down on all sides and ends at 35 meters in the sand. The reef between 15 - 24 meters is dotted with different sized overhangs. Hunting tunas, schooling barracudas, the fastest animal on earth - the mantis shrimp, octopus, a rare and beautiful patterned puffer fish, whitetip reef sharks, a school of banner fish, turtles and stone fish all make Angaga their home.
