Vakarufalhi Prodivers offers a wide range of diving activities that are suitable for all levels of experience and include:
Orientation Session
As soon as you arrive on Vakarufalhi, we would like to invite you to join one of our Orientation Sessions. This allows you to become more familiar with the dive center and what we have on offer and also to meet the team. Included in the Orientation is a dive on our house reef.
This dive allows us to find out the correct weighting for you for your subsequent dives and also give you a chance to tetst any new equipment you might have. It is also a great way to get see to the house reef, after which you are free to dive whenever you wish during your stay.
House Reef Diving
The stunning Vakarufalhi House Reef can be dived anytime between 8:30am and 8:30pm. Simply come along with your buddy, sign out at the dive center and away you go!
The Vakaurfalhi House Reef starts at 2 meters and drops down to a sandy bottom at 23m. There are numerous walls with overhangs to explore and some interesting cleaning stations full with banded boxer shrimp and moray eels. Keep checking the reef for stone fish and scorpion fish while at the same time, marvel at the schooling fusiliers and snappers. If you like the bigger stuff, keep your eyes peeled for white tip reef sharks, stingrays and eagle rays. Occasionally the house reef is graced with sightings of the majestic manta ray.
Night Diving
If you are interested is seeing the changes that happen to the reef when the sunsets, join one of our house reef night dives. These guided tours are initially designed for those who have never done one before. If you have already done a night dive, feel free to join one of our boat night dives.
Scheduled Boat Dives
We run a daily program of boat dive trips to one of over 30 dive sites which lie very close to Vakarufahli.
Whether you are looking for the chance to see sharks and rays, or a more relaxed dive to perfect your photography skills, our daily program of BOAT DIVES will be able to provide you with what you're looking for.
Add a new dimension to your diving! Underwater Scooters are a great and fun way to expand your diving experience:
Scooter Diving
We now offer Scooter Intro dives for people looking to take a Scooter for a test drive. Get to know how it works and how to steer it on our house reef before being able to take one out on a boat dive. Current diving is made a lot easier as the effort you have to use is minimised, and the added bonus is that the big fish seem to be more curious about Scooter Divers. Curiousity seems to bring sharks and eagle rays that little bit closer...
SCOOTER SPECIALTY COURSES are also available to give you that extra edge and speed over your buddy!
