The South Ari Atoll is home to some of the most famous and well known dive spots across the Maldives. Vakarufalhi itself lies directly next to some of the diving hot spots offering quick and easy access to a lot of these sites.
There are over 30 dive sites close by (all within a one hour boat ride) and offer a huge variety of corals, fish life and of course, the chance for big fish encounters.
Mantas, Whalesharks & More…
Stunning coral formations, incredible colours and a huge variety of fish life have made the Ari Atoll one of the top diving destinations around the world. Add into the mix regular Manta Ray and Whaleshark sightings, and its clear to understand why people keep coming back for more.
Dive sites such as Kuda Rah Thila, Broken Rock, Manta Point and Maamigili Beru are all within easy reach of Vakarufalhi.
From January till end of March visits to MANTA DIVE SITES are made several times a week. In April, May and then again September through to November there is a good chance of seeing whalesharks in the area.
