Here on Kuredu, we have a resident, full time videographer as part of our dive team.
Spending most of his days filming the underwater world around the Lhaviyani Atoll, don’t be surprised if he shows up on one of your boat dives! It is also possible, on request, to have him follow you around for a dive or for a full days diving. At the end, you will be able to relive your dives with a fully edited DVD, complete with soundtrack.
Regardless of whether you are starting your diving career with the Open Water course or are hoping to see some bigger fish life while undertaking the Shark or Turtle Specialties, our videographer can be on hand to capture the moments.
From the footage gathered, we are also fortunate enough to be able to produce some high quality DVDs for our guests. The latest DVD to hit the shelves is called “Dive Life”, and portrays the highlights of the underwater world around both Kuredu and Komandoo. “Dive Life” includes footage of sharks, turtles, mantas, schooling fish and also some great shots of the islands themselves.
Once a week, we also run a video night on Kuredu, where either the latest ProDivers production or footage from the last week’s diving is shown.
So who knows, you might find yourself the stars of the silver screen after all!
