Komandoo Prodivers - Staff Team
On Komandoo we have a team of four Instructors, which is a relatively large team for such a small resort. This enables us to offer courses for the individual needs in different languages such as English, German, French and Spanish. |

I started diving in Spain as a CMAS diver in 1992. From the first moment I loved it and I knew that would be more than just a hobby. For a few years I helped in courses as a CMAS 3 Stars in two different clubs.
In 1995 Josep and I took part in the first ever IDC in Barcelona and became PADI Instructor.Afterwards We decided to open our own dive school near Barcelona. I also worked as a freelance during 3 years in a dive center in the North-West coast of Spain.
In 1999 I came to the Maldives to work for PRODIVERS in Kuredu, we moved to Komandoo in June 2006. I am really enjoying the time here. |

My big passion together with diving is travelling. I can not get enough. All these years I managed to combine both of them.
I like skiing, maybe not as much as Josep, but quite a lot. I also love photography on land and underwater.
They say I am a good cook. I really enjoy it, must be because I do not need to do it every day. |

I did my first ever dive in 1989. Took a CMAS course next year and became 1 star iNstructor in 1993. Worked in two diferent clubs in Barcelona,as a spare time job.Teaching people how to dive, during those years, gave me a lot of experience and good friends too. I actually met Rosa in a swimming pool!
In 1994 I became PADI DM and OWSI in 1995. The same year Rosa and I opened our own dive school that we closed three years later in order to work for PRODIVERS in the Maldives.
The rest has been fantastic!! |

Diving was my passion after skiing until it became my job. Still love it though.
I like travelling, and diving in other areas of the planet. I like antiques, watches and I collect notes and coins from all over the world. Donations accepted!!
Photography is also among my main interests. |

Since discovering scuba diving in Barbados in 1990, I am addicted to the fascinating underwater world.
Finishing medical school and becoming a PADI Instructor in 1996, I worked in Germany for 10 years in the field of Diving and Hyperbaric Medicine.
After working together with Irina as an instructor in Thailand, I joined the Prodivers team in Komandoo in October 2007. |

I love to travel around the world meeting interesting people and exploring different countries and cultures. Another passion is any kind of sport, soccer of course but also basketball, tennis, skiing and billard.
Sushi and Pizza are my favourite foods - it is a mission impossible for me to resist a bite. |

I did my first jump into the water with a tank on my back in the Maldives in 2002. After meeting Stefan during a diving holiday, I decided to finish my job in a Swiss Bank and to become a PADI Instructor. After working as an instructor in Thailand, I joined Prodivers in Komandoo in October 2007. |

When I am not with my head under water, I like to travel and to discover new places.
I love to be in the country side, e.g. for inline skating, biking and last but not least for snowboarding…all not very easy in the Maldives of course. Here I enjoy the time in watching a movie or just have a look at the fantastic clear stars in the sky. |
