Kuredu ProDivers is one of the largest dive centres in the Maldives. As a 5-star Instructor Development Center it offers the full PADI education program as well as its own distinctive speciality courses scheduled on a regular basis.
ORIENTATION
Every certified diver who has never previously dived on Kuredu must do an Orientation dive to become familiar with the dive centre facilities and the House Reef. These take place every morning, simply come to register with your logbooks and diving certificates the day before.
SCUBA TUNE UP
If you feel that you could benefit from a re-fresher session due to the amount of time since your last dive then we do scuba reviews (in place of the Orientation Dive) daily on request and according to instructor availability. Please come along to register the day before.
FOR CERTIFIED DIVERS
Feel free to dive with us as much as you like. We offer 5, 10, 15 and 20 dive packages as well as 6 day non-limit and 12 day non-limit packages. The day before your departure we calculate the best dive package for you according to what you have done.
HOUSE REEF
The House Reef is available daily from 09:00-21:00 and is accessible from the jetty. Tanks for the House Reef can be pre-arranged so that your tanks are waiting for you at the jetty hut where you can kit up and jump straight in.

COURSES FOR ADVANCED DIVERS
PADI ADVENTURE DIVER
After your Open Water course you might want to find out more about diving and different diving activities. PADI offers a large number of Adventure Dives you can do. 3 of those dives will get you a certification as Adventure Diver. Choices are dives like Deep, Navigation, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Wreck, Drift, Scooter, Night, Fish Identification, etc. We start an Advanced Course once every week, and you can easily join the course for just the 3 dives you need for your Adventure Diver.
PADI ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER (AOWD)
Join our course, that we offer each week! Usually the Advanced course consists of 5 dives. The Deep and Navigation dives are mandatory. We give you one dive additionally for free – the Peak Performance Buoyancy dive. We believe it’s the most useful of all the Adventure dives and will greatly enhance your feeling of safety and fun underwater. So all-in-all our Advanced course consists of 6 dives, 3 of which you can chose freely from the list of Adventure dives that PADI offers. There is not much theory involved. Most of the learning takes place through the new experiences underwater. The course lasts 3 days.
EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONSE (EFR)
It is equivalent to a regular 1st Aid course at home. Very useful, not just for diving but for everyday life as well. The course will take about 2 half days. Some theory is involved, but mostly exercises and emergency scenarios in the classroom. You need a current EFR or other 1st Aid course before you start with the Rescue Diver course. EFR courses are done on request. Ideally email us before your vacation, so that we can fit the course for you into our schedule.
PADI RESCUE DIVER
All the other courses before this one focus on you, and taking care of yourself. As a PADI Rescue Diver you focus for the first time on helping others as well as yourself. It is a very rewarding and challenging course. We do it on request. Usually it lasts about 4 days. Ideally please book through email with us in advance. After the course you will feel much more confident underwater, and you will have gathered useful knowledge for all sorts of possible emergencies in the water.
PADI DIVEMASTER (DM)
The first step to become a Diving Professional. If you want to do this course with us we definitely need to know in advance. Please pre-book through email. There is a lot of theory involved, and we can tell you beforehand what you need to prepare before starting your course. It is a very rewarding and intense experience for everyone, and you will greatly enhance your skills. If you want to become a Diving Instructor it is the necessary first step. The course will take a minimum of about 2 weeks. There will be lots of skill practice, theory sessions and exams, and probably most interesting an internship where you assist with courses and get a very good glimpse into the world of PADI instructing. As a PADI Divemaster you not only start to care for others, but you also start to become actively involved into helping people so they can have a good diving experience.
