Komandoo ProDivers is a friendly, well organized and professional dive centre offering a variety of diving activities such as:
Orientation Session
Divers arriving on Komandoo are asked initially to join an Orientation Dive. During this session, we can offer more explanation as to how the dive center runs and what we have on offer. Included in the Orientation is a dive on our house reef.
The Orientation Dive allows us to find out the correct weighting for you and gives you a taster of what its like to dive in Maldivian waters. It is also a great way to get accustomed to the house reef, after which you are free to dive whenever you wish during your stay.
House Reef Diving
The Komandoo House Reef can be dived anytime between 9am and 9pm. Simply come along with your buddy, sign out at the dive center and away you go!
The Komandoo House Reef is split into 4 sections, all of which offer something slightly different. Regardless of which section you go to, there is a huge variety of fish life. Scatterings of blue stripe snapper and fusiliers compete for space on the reef with the lion fish and banner fish. For the beady eyed diver, there are scorpion fish and frog fish to be found and Komandoo is famous for its resident green and hawksbill turtles.
Night Diving
We also offer a guided House Reef Night Dive for those of you that have never done one before. If you fancy the thought of seeing what happens beneath the surface once the sun goes down, this is a great opportunity for you to get a dive with one of our instructors under your belt before being able to join any Night Dive Boats.
We also run scheduled Boat Night Dives to one of the spectacular reefs around Komandoo for those who have already done a night dive.
Scheduled Boat Dives
We run a daily program of boat dive trips to one of our vast range of dive sites.
Whether you are looking for the chance to see sharks and rays, or a more relaxed dive to perfect your photography skills, our daily program of BOAT DIVES will be able to provide you with what you're looking for.
Fancy trying something new! Scooters are a fun and great way to expand your diving experience:
Not only is diving with a scooter great fun, but there is something about them that seems to attract the big fish. Eagle Rays, Sharks and Turtles all seem to become a bit more curious when Scooters are in the water!
We regularly run 'Scooter Intro' dives which let you get accustomed to how it works and what its like to dive with one on our House Reef before having the option of taking them on subsequent boat dives.
SCOOTER SPECIALTY COURSES are also available to give you that extra edge and speed over your buddy!
